Birthday party!

Our birthday is actually Monday, but we had our party Saturday.
It was a blast!
We had 12 people and 16 dogs.
One English bulldog,
two French bulldogs,
one Shih Tzu,
one Jug and
11 pugs.

Our Auntie Erin took all of these pictures.
She's a professional photographer which is why these are all awesome. I
f you need a photographer, check her out. She travels!

This is our backyard and deck. People eating the yummy human food.
Mom had these made by Cupcake Central in Virginia Beach.
The ears are graham crackers, the rest is frosting and granulated sugar.

There was swimming in the big pool.
This is Yuka McButtercup swimming.

And Louie the Frenchie.

There was some swimming in the baby pools, too.
This is Buddy. He got in the big pool, too.

Tallulah showing off her party hat.

Tallulah and Petunia in the pool. That's Louie at the very edge.

There was also digging for treats.
Sisters. We do everything together.

Some of our party guests searching for treats.

After all the fun, it was time for pupcakes and ice cream!
Isabelle taking a break on the deck.

Mucho puggies enjoying ice cream. The pupcakes went too fast to get pictures.

That's Chad, kneeling down. He had treats, can you tell?

Louie, the Frenchie, talked someone into holding his ice cream for him.

Petunia modeling her hat.

Mom holding us.
Tallulah acted like she was dying with the hat on.
Typical diva behavior except it's usually Petunia that acts crazy.

Check out the presents we got!
There was a canvas toy box with pink polka dots and paws,
PetsMart gift cards, bowls,
pink poop bags, pink doggy towels and
an ice cream squeaky toy

and all these balls.

Fifteen balls!!!!!

It's benign!

The vet called today and said Petunia's spot was benign! The good juju and prayers worked!
Whoo hoo!

We are busy, getting ready for our party on Saturday and playing with our Aunt Mandy. She and mom went to Baltimore last night to see U2. Them and 80,000 of their closest friends. It was hot and humid, but mom had the time of her life. We aren't sure if she loves us or U2 more. It's that intense.
She spent most of her time screaming and singing along, but here are a few pictures from the concert.
This is where the Baltimore Ravens play.

Those teeny people on the stage are Bono and Adam.

You can barely see the Edge to the left, Larry on the drums, Adam and Bono playing to the camera.

Here's Bono on the ginormous screen.

It took about 5 1/2 hours to get there with traffic. Mom and Aunt Mandy got home at 5 in the morning. They are paying for it now, but it was so worth it.

First, thank you to everyone who wished us well here and on Twitter. Mom said it helped her get through the day, knowing that we had some awesome friends out there.

Second, Petunia did great today! The surgery only took a few minutes, the vet said. And from her behavior, you'd never think Petunia even went to the vet!

But she has some stitches on her elbow. Looks ugly, doesn't it?

The vet had very strict instructions for us.
No running.
No jumping.
No playing.
No stairs.
No swimming.

So what does Petunia do?
After being carried inside the house, she ran into the living room.
She jumped on the couch.
She started playing with Tallulah.

Once we went outside, she immediately ran down the deck stairs and
to the baby pool and got her paws wet.

We've already been through three bandages, the kind from the stick to itself tape.
In frustration, mom decided to wrap her in this Ace bandage to try to keep the bandage on.

We'll see how long it works.
If anyone has any ideas, let us know.

We have a recheck next Friday.
The pathology report should be back by then.

The waiting is the hardest part.

But with some wonderful bloggy friend support and good pet insurance,
we know things are going to be okay.

Puggy prayers needed

Petunia is going in for minor surgery tomorrow to remove a spot on her elbow.

It could be nothing or it could be something. The vet will send the spot off for analysis, and it could take a while to get the results.

In the meantime, we are praying that it is nothing but a beauty mark!

Your thoughts are prayers are appreciated in advance!

Pugapalooza Part 3 Agility Pugs!

Geez, we've been slacking. Lots of yard clean up and swimming going on here, getting in the way of our blogging. But here is part 3 of Pugapalooza fun!

Look at the crowd!
They are captivated!

Here's some pictures from the demonstration.
We know that Gracie from Screaming K-9 could explain all of this.
There was zigging and zagging and jumping and running.
All we know is that the crowd went wild!

Next post is all about fashion!
