Tallulah loves her yak chew. Petunia prefers the bully stick.
The yak chew on the left is unchewed. The one on the right is after Tallulah chewed on it since Wednesday. She's still chewing on it, but mom will take it away before she swallows it. Or after, depending on how ornery Tallulah might be.
So our vote is that the yak chew is much longer lasting for aggressive chewers like Tallulah. We do think that She's darn near OCD about chewing on her stuff. Remember that she wore the pigment off her lips going after a saddle bone.
You will need to watch your doggy with this one though, especially if they are prone to swallow stuff. The chew is really hard and probably won't digest very quickly in the stomach. It could cause an abdominal obstruction if too large.
That looks yummy! I can't believe you wore off your chime skin TAlulah, that is some real chewy commitment!
ReplyDeleteOh those Yak chews are awesome. But alas, nothing keeps Lincoln busy for more than thirty minutes. Mom is on the hunt for something awesome :) hehe
ReplyDeleteMuah,
Minnie Moo
Oh snap! Looks like we will be putting yak chews on our Christmas wish list this year. I am like you, and become downright obsessed chewing. I got a dinosaur nylabone that has lasted a while. It has nibs that massage my teef.

That is some intense chewing going on there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice! Daisy likes to chew her
bones into three different pieces. I usually
need to replace it after a few days, so she won't
swallow or choke on it. Makes me a little
nervous sometimes.
Daisy and I hope you are having a great week!
