What are you thankful for?

We are thankful. 

We are blessed pugs. We have a mom that loves us and would do anything for us. We have good, plentiful food, warm beds, more toys than anypug should have, an ample supply of bully sticks and treats, clothes galore. We have good veterinary care, vitamins and supplements to keep us at our healthiest, a big yard to play in and dog parks to run in. 

Most of the time, we don't act very thankful. Honestly, we act like spoiled brats a lot.
But on this day, we are grateful.

We are even more grateful. We have all of the above, thanks to Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue. We were rescued in March 2009 and have been living the good life ever since. Now, our previous home wasn't horrible or abusive, but it was neglectful. So we are grateful to MAPR for taking us in and giving us a place to be better pugs. We may never get adopted, but that's okay. We have it pretty good here, yummy homemade food, warm squishy beds, as much as loving as our foster mom can give. We are part of the family. It's a good life for two old pugs. -Quincy and Isabelle

There are many people, pugs, other dogs and kitties who don't have what we have. So many animals in rescues or on the streets or in shelters. We are lucky, and so are you for humans that love us. So as you eat your yummy noms today, think a little about the ones who don't have turkey and dressing, don't have awesome moms and dads who love them. Send some love out in the universe for them.
