Hug your pugs

We learned this morning that Emmitt has crossed the bridge.  

So much sadness lately. 

Please hug your pugs and other furry friends today. 

The lives of our pets are short, sometimes our human lives, too. 

Live every day, love every day because no one knows how long it will last.

Pug meet up

Yesterday, we had our mid-month pug meet up. 

Since the weather was nice, we had about 40 pugs come out to play! 

IT WAS AWESOME! 

The sun was shining, but it wasn't too hot or too cold. 

We ran and ran and sniffed and ran.

There was a disagreement over who could play with the ball. 

Notice how we are keeping back a little.

This was a boy thing.

She films her fingers a lot. 

And can't seem to manage to actually turn the camera off before she puts it in her pocket. 

Mom only got a few pictures because she spent more time talking to the other pug parents. How rude!

Sweater day!

Even though we aren't Canadian, we wanted to participate in Winston's Sweater Day! Mom tries her best to do things that are better for the environment so she was all about the sweaters. She did turn the thermostat down, but since it was 64 degrees today, the heat didn't even kick on.

Honestly, almost every day is sweater day in winter for us. We are more tropical pugs than winter pugs. So, for your viewing pleasure, The Souther Fried Pugs in Sweaters (and pajamas).

She said red looks better on her than the pink that permeates our wardrobe.

Bad Sports?

Tallulah: What? Mom says we are being bad sports? Sore losers about MangoMinster?

Petunia: I am just so distraught. 

Does that mean we will be in the Bad Sport category instead of the Diva category next year? 

What about my wardrobe?

Tallulah: Whatever.  

 Fine mom, we'll be gracious winners.

Seriously though, we are happy for the winners of MangoMinster. 

And for the judge. It was hard with all those entries of spectacular divas.

We were disappointed in US, not the judging.

We just have to try harder next time.

Well, we were very disappointed that we didn't even place at MangoMinster. 

See how disappointed Tallulah is?

Petunia can't even face the camera she's so disappointed.

Come on, have you seen us? We are so Divas. 

Anyway, we've decided to start planning for next year. 

By expanding our wardrobes. 

Yup, that's right.

More clothes. 

As of today, we've added five more t shirts and two more dresses.

Puppy Bowl VII!

While most of the world is watching people chase each other around, we will be watching puppies chasing each other around! Puppy Bowl VII! Kitty halftime show, hamsters in a blimp, water bowl cam and this year, a puppy cam! It will be like being there!
