Funny pug merch

Mom doesn't have a lot of pug stuff. She says she'd rather have more pugs than pug stuff. But there's an artist who draws pugs and they are HILARIOUS. Plus, he's donating a portion of his proceeds to MAPR. So if you have a person in your life that likes pug stuff, check this guy out.

A sad day for smush faces

Pause for a moment to cherish the memory of a friend most of us have never met, Betty from Smush Faces.
Remember her and all our friends who are chasing rainbows. Then hug those you love, four legged or two legged.

Thank you Veterans!

On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we remember the war to end all wars (World War I). So we salute those who served and especially those who gave their lives for freedom. To our uncle John in the Army, our uncle Pete in the Navy, our mom who was in the Air Force and all our veterans, both here and abroad.

Hug your favorite veteran today.

Pug-O-Ween (part 2)

After so mixing and mingling, getting to know our new puggy friends, we changed into our costumes so we could be in the contest. There was Cutest, Funniest and Best Group.

Cutest went to the Peacock.

Well, hands down, Mr. T was the funniest.

Best Group went to the Puggerflies.

We did come in runner up for Best Group,
but these two were just adorable.

Now for the BIG NEWS, Tallulah won the Frosty Paws eating contest.
WHOO-HOO!
They let us take the ice cream out of the paper cup and Tallulah just gulped it down.
Once declared the winner (The organizer announced "Bacon has won the eating contest!" BOL), Tallulah and Petunia proceeded to clean up after the others by eating two more ice creams each.

And no tummy troubles. Guts of steel, we have.
For all of that, Tallulah won this fabulous basket!

The extra stuff is our loot from trick or treating with the other pugs.
We got extra to share with Quincy and Isabelle.

Here's a close up of what Tallulah won. A Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue tote bag and key chain,
Milo and Otis DVD, MORE BULLY STICKS!!!!,
and a $35 gift certificate to My Dog Ate It Catering.
They are in Boston, MA, so all of you New England doggies should check them out. Pug owned!

So we celebrated with curly bully sticks. Petunia sports her Halloween dress.

Tallulah in her Halloween dress, going after Isabelle's curly. Don't worry, Isabelle stole Tallulah's, too.

We promised a photo shoot in our Punchy dresses, but that didn't happen.
Mom got a seriously grumbly tummy for two days. So we didn't leave the house.
She will get some pictures of us in our dresses and save the official portraits for next Halloween.

Hope everyone had a safe Halloween and got lots of treats.

Another doggy chasing rainbows

Monday was a sad day for us.
Our aunt Sassy went to the Rainbow Bridge.
Our mom's mom is really sad that she had to go,
but she knew it was the right thing for Sassy.
We only met her once, when we went to visit at Christmas,
but she was nice enough to us.
And for once, we were good girls and didn't harass her.
Chase those rainbows, Aunt Sassy.
