Crazy week ahead

Noodles had an awesome idea about 100 Happy Things. We are totally stealing that idea. We think we are going to split it up and do some every month. Starting next month.

Things are upside down here. Mom is leaving us, for the first time ever.
We've never been apart for more than a few hours.
What? You're leaving? Without us?
Our aunt Mandy is going to be in the hospital next week, and mom needs to be there. With the short notice, mom couldn't take off enough time to drive there and back. Plus, she'll be at the hospital all the time, leaving us alone anyway.

So we get to have sleep overs with some friends. Tallulah and Petunia are going to stay with Stitch and Lilo. Isabelle is going to a home with other senior dogs. They'll probably be playing Bingo all week. Or sleeping.
Snoooooore
There's a flurry of laundry and food making and list making and packing. We are pretty high maintenance pugs, apparently. To make it easier for our friends, mom has separated out our pills and supplements by meal.

And made a bunch of food for us. Mom's trying to make it as easy as possible for the lovely people who will be taking care of us. We are going to be a handful as it is.

And to top it all off, it's supposed to snow tomorrow!
And get really cold again. So we'll do that camping thing for most of the week.
Snow? Seriously?
Does the weatherman know this is the South?
This week ought to be fun with the snow and the cold and the packing.
Around here, even an inch of snow sends people into a panic. Good thing mom went grocery shopping already!

If any of you have tips on how to be good houseguests, let us know in the comments!

  2. So sorry your mom has family in the hospital. But I can't help but smile at the thought of Isabelle playing bingo with the old pug gals. ;-)

  3. Well wesa never has stayed away from our home, with friends. We are not even sure our mom has any friends that we could stay wif...hers would have to just..well wesa don't know what hers would do, we guess that is what our daddy is for, to watch us when mom is gone....um....
Anyway we hopes your aunt gets better soon, its hard when family is in the hospital. Thank you also for your comment about Bernice. Mom is seeing the dr. today about her legs, and will talk to her.
Thank you for being our friend.

  10. Wow, sounds exciting! I'm sure you guys will have a fun time. Looks like your Mom thought of everything and has all your food lined up (the most important thing, right?). Stay warm - it's been absolutely frigid here. Don't party too hard while Mom's away! :)

    -Love,
    Sid.
