We are praying

For Alabama. For Mississippi. For Georgia. For Virginia. For everyone affected by these terrible storms. So much devastation.
We are praying especially hard for our blog friends Harry Pugalicious and Lulu and Kitty and Coco and their families. Has anyone in blogland heard if they are okay? We understand that updating your blog when the power is out is tough and the last thing on someone's mind. We just want to know if they are okay. If anyone has heard, would you leave a comment?
Prayers and peace to all.

Hello and goodbye, for a little bit

First, we want to wish our Aunt Mandy good luck on her triathlon this weekend. It's her first, but probably won't be her last. Frankly, we don't see the point of all that running and swimming and biking unless there's a trail of treats to be followed. But if it makes her happy, then it makes us happy.

Second, mom has to take a break from blogging for a bit. She's in school and has two ginormous papers due the first week of May. Fascinating stuff like Legitimacy in Public Administration and a statistical profile of light rail ridership in Norfolk.

We'll be snoozing.

A lot.

See you in a few weeks.

New Puggy Blog on the Block!

Our wonderful friends, Zoe, Peyton, Webster and Liberty have a blog!

They are the cutest pairs of brothers and sisters!
And their mom loves to dress them up for the holidays.

We have heard that their mom bribes them with chicken treats,
making getting all those pictures easier.

Do you hear that, people?

CHICKEN TREATS!

Their mom sent us the softest baby blankets with our names embroidered on them for Pugmas in July.

Mom put this blanket in Quincy's box with him so he always stays warm.

So head on over to A day in the life of pugs and said hello!
Tell them Tallulah, Petunia, Isabelle and Angel Quincy sent you.

A welcome visitor

Monday was a great weather day. Sunshine, temperatures in the high 70's. Windy, but overall a good day. On days like that, mom rides her scooter to work. Instead of using the front door, she uses the back.

Carmen the scooter
So, Monday, mom gets home from work, lets us out to potty, feeds us. The usual. But Tallulah and Petunia keep going to the front door and barking. Mom keeps saying, "It's the cats! Stop barking at the cats!" But we keep returning to the front door. Finally, mom notices us sniffing intently at the door.

Then she remembers that she saw a package between the storm and front doors
when she drove her scooter home.
The big box of bully sticks must have come!

Look at all these yummies! Two yak chews and two giant bags of bullies!
That ought to keep us busy for a few weeks!

What?
One of the bags is for Pugapalooza?
That's not until May!
We will run out of bullies before then!

Off to chew on our bullies and yak chews. While they last.

Happy (early) Easter!

Today was a big day for us.
Mom made us matching dresses for our photo shoot with the Easter Bunny.

They were all the same fabric, but Mom allowed us some individualism with our own ribbons.
Tallulah picked purple.

Petunia chose yellow.

And Isabelle decided on pink.

And here's our first portrait with all three of us together.
Don't we make a lovely little family?

Tallulah had to be the diva this time and not look at the camera.
But two out of three ain't bad.

So if you're in Hampton Roads, go get your picture taken at Carealot on Diamond Springs. The photos help raise money for local animal rescues and they are so squeeee!
